Valentines Day Paintchip Art
I am terrible at decorating for the holidays, but a bit of valentines day inspiration hit me this year. So we now have one Valentines decoration up!
I saw this fantastic tutorial from A Beautiful Mess (one of my absolute favorite blogs!) on paintchip art and decided to go holiday themed with it.
1. Pick out your paintchip colors and cut them into squares. Mine are 1 and a half by 1 and a half inches. 2. Lay them out the way you want, patterned or random. 3. Glue/tape them down. I used my old school creative memories tape runner. 4. Adjust any squares to overlap to be sure your backing isnt showing. Mine is thin posterboard. 5. Pick out a color and font for your letters. I used pink scrapbook paper and traced a font from my computer. 7. Glue/tape your letters down, frame and youre all done!
***note: I am completely aware that I skipped the number 6. Judge, judge away.
I love this little bit of love that is reminding of us the reason for celebrating!
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
